The selection is a two-stage process designed to test both general aptitude and subject expertise:
Preliminary Test (Objective Type): A 300-mark screening test. You must score at least 15% to be considered for the next stage.
Interview: Candidates are called for a personal interview based on their performance in the Prelims and category-wise availability.
Final Merit: Calculated by giving 50% weightage to Prelims marks and 50% weightage to Interview marks.
What is the salary for a GPSC Veterinary Officer?
Ans: The pay scale is Rs. 44,900 to Rs. 1,42,400 (Pay Matrix Level-08).
Can final year students apply?
Ans: The notification states that experience is counted after obtaining the degree. For direct recruitment, educational qualification is generally checked as of the application deadline or the first scrutiny date.
Is there a negative marking in the Prelims?
