Degree: A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, or Biochemistry from a recognized University.
Technical Training: Must have passed a Diploma in Laboratory Technician, Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), or a Post-Graduate Diploma in MLT.
Computer Knowledge: Basic knowledge of computer applications is mandatory.
Language Proficiency: Adequate knowledge of Gujarati, Hindi, or both.

What is the salary for this post?
Ans : For the first 5 years, you will receive a fixed monthly salary of ₹40,800. After satisfactory service, you move to the pay scale of ₹29,200 – ₹92,300 (Level-5).
Can regular (non-Divyang) candidates apply?
Ans: No, this is a Special Recruitment Drive only for candidates with valid benchmark disabilities.
Is there a refund for the exam fee?
Ans: Yes, the ₹400 fee is refunded to all candidates who actually attend the exam.
Is computer knowledge mandatory?
Ans: Yes, but if you don't have a certificate now, you can still apply. However, you must produce it before joining.
What if I make a mistake in the application?
Ans: You can edit the form before clicking "Confirm." After confirmation, no changes are allowed. You would need to submit a new application before the deadline.
Are women from other states eligible for reservation?
Ans: Reservation and age relaxation benefits are generally applicable to original residents of Gujarat.
What is the minimum qualifying score?
Ans: You must score at least 40% marks in Part-A and 40% in Part-B separately to be considered for the merit list.

Ans: Yes, candidates with blindness or locomotor disability affecting both arms can request a scribe/extra time by emailing the board at least two days before the exam.
How much extra time is given to Divyang candidates?
Ans: Eligible candidates get 20 minutes per hour as compensatory time.
Is there any weightage for sports or widow candidates?
Ans: Yes, valid sports certificate holders and widow candidates receive an additional 5% marks added to their exam score.
