Technical Trades (Electrician, Plumber, etc.): Must have passed Matriculation along with the relevant ITI Certificate.
Armourer: Released personnel from Armed/Paramilitary forces with an Armourer's Course certificate.

Upload Documents: Scan and upload your photo, signature, and educational certificates.

The recruitment involves a three-stage evaluation:
Stage-I: Physical Standard Test (PST): Measurement of height and chest.
Stage-II: Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Qualifying races, long jump, and high jump (no marks, but mandatory to pass).
Stage-III: Written Test & Evaluation: A 100-mark final merit system consisting of a Written Exam (50 marks) and evaluation of certificates/experience (50 marks).
What is the daily salary for a Home Guard?
Ans: Presently, the remuneration is fixed at Rs. 977/- per day when called for duty.
Can I apply for a post in another district?
Ans: No, candidates must apply only against vacancies in their home district.
Is there a height requirement?
Ans: Yes. For General Male candidates, it is 5'6", and for General Female candidates, it is 5'2".
Are Agniveers eligible?
Ans: Yes, released Agniveers are eligible if they meet the educational criteria.
Is the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) counted in the final merit?
Ans: No, it is qualifying in nature only.
What is the duration of the Written Test?
Ans: The exam lasts for 1 hour.
What happens if two candidates get the same marks?
Ans: The older candidate will be ranked higher.
Is there a training period?
Ans: Yes, selected candidates must undergo 45 days of Basic Training.
Do I need a drug test?
Ans: You must provide a "No Drug Use" certificate before physical tests, and a Dope Test is conducted during the medical exam.
Can I change my application after submission?
Ans: No, changes are not allowed once the form is submitted.
