Qualification: Must possess a four-year full-time Engineering Graduation in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation.
Passing Year: Only candidates who graduated after April 01, 2023, are eligible.
Minimum Marks: * UR/OBC-NC: At least 60% aggregate marks across all semesters.
SC/ST/PwBD: At least 50% aggregate marks across all semesters.
General / OBC-NC / EWS: No Fee (Exempted).

Eligibility: Must be an Indian National and registered on the NATS 2.0 portal.
Before starting your application, ensure you have scanned copies of the following:
Recent Passport-sized Photograph.
Scanned Signature.
Engineering Degree/Provisional Certificate.
Consolidated Marksheet of all semesters/years.
Caste/Community Certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NC) if applicable.

NATS Registration: Ensure you are registered and approved on the NATS 2.0 portal (nats.education.gov.in).
HPCL Signup: Visit the HPCL Apprentice Link and "Sign up for New Registration".
Fill Details: Enter your personal, contact, and educational information. You can choose only one state for training preference.
Upload: Attach your passport-sized photo and scanned signature.
Review: Use the Preview option to double-check all data before clicking "Final Submit".
Confirmation: Save the HPCL Application Number received on your registered email for future reference.
The selection is merit-based and transparent, involving the following steps:
Screening: Applications are shortlisted based on your Engineering percentage (merit).
Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates (ratio 1:5) will be invited via email for physical verification of certificates.
Medical Fitness: Suitable candidates must submit a Medical Certificate in the prescribed format.
Police Verification: A clear police verification report is mandatory for final engagement.
Final Offer: Selected candidates will accept a tri-partite contract on the NATS portal.
What is the monthly stipend?
Ans: Selected candidates receive ā¹25,000/- per month (ā¹20,500 by HPCL and ā¹4,500 via DBT by the GOI).
Is there any job guarantee after training?
Ans: HPCL gives no commitment to permanent employment, but apprentices get preferential treatment in future recruitments.
I graduated in 2022. Can I apply?
Ans: No, only those who graduated on or after 01-04-2023 are eligible.
Can I apply to multiple states?
Ans: No, you can only select one state of preference. Multiple applications will be rejected.
What is the duration of the training?
Ans: The apprenticeship training is for exactly one year.
Do I need to send a hard copy of the application?
Ans: No, you are NOT required to submit hard copies to HPCL.
What if my CGPA to percentage formula is not given?
Ans: You must obtain a conversion certificate from your University; otherwise, HPCL will use a standard calculation method.
Will I get housing assistance?
Ans: HPCL is not obligated to provide housing or any other allowances besides the stipend.
Is there an interview?
Ans: The selection is primarily based on merit percentage; however, candidates are called for document verification based on rank.
