Job Description

The Himachal Pradesh Rajya Chayan Aayog (HPRCA), Hamirpur, has released a major recruitment notification for the year 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for teaching aspirants in Himachal Pradesh to join the Directorate of School Education as a Junior Basic Teacher (Job Trainee).

This recruitment drive aims to fill 600 vacancies across various categories. Qualification

Candidates must meet at least one of the following criteria:

  1. 10+2 (50% marks) + 2-year JBT or D.El.Ed.

  2. 10+2 (45% marks) + 2-year JBT or D.El.Ed (per NCTE 2002 norms).

  3. 10+2 (50% marks) + 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).

  4. 10+2 (50% marks) + 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

  5. Graduation + 2-year JBT or D.El.Ed.

  6. Post-Graduation (55% marks) + 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.

  7. Mandatory: Must have passed the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by HPBOSE Dharamshala or an authorized agency.

  8. Note: A 5% relaxation in qualifying marks for education and TET is given to SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates.
