Officer (JMG Scale-I): A pass in the 12th Standard (HSC) or its equivalent from a recognized board.
Clerk (Customer Service Associate): A pass in the 12th Standard (HSC) or its equivalent from a recognized board.
For Officer (JMG Scale-I): The candidate must have represented the country in senior or junior international events.
For Clerk (CSA): The candidate must have represented a State in National events, a University in Inter-University events, or a District in Inter-District events and secured a top 3 position.
SC / ST / PwBD Candidates: Rs. 175/- (Inclusive of GST).
All Other Candidates (General/OBC/EWS):Rs. 1000/- (Inclusive of GST)

Screening of Applications (Marks: 40 for Officer, 55 for Clerk): Based on your age and sports achievements (performances on or after 02.01.2024 are considered).
Performance in Trials (Marks: 30 for Officer, 45 for Clerk): Assessment of physical fitness, speed, endurance, and game skills. For Chess, only game skill is evaluated.
Interview (Marks: 30 - For Officer Cadre ONLY): Candidates for the Officer post who qualify the trials will be called for an interview in a 3:1 ratio.
1. Can I apply for both Officer and Clerk posts?
Ans: The notification typically specifies that you should choose the cadre you are most eligible for. You must clearly indicate your choice in the application form.
2. What is the salary for an Officer in JMG Scale-I?
Ans: The pay scale for an Officer is approximately ā¹48,480 ā ā¹85,920, plus various allowances like DA, HRA, and CCA.
3. Is there a written exam for the Clerk post?
Ans: No, selection for the Clerical cadre is based solely on the Screening of Applications and Performance in Trials. There is no interview for Clerks.
4. What is the salary for the Clerk (CSA) post?
Ans: The salary for the Clerk post ranges between ā¹24,050 ā ā¹64,480, plus applicable allowances.
5. Are achievements before 2024 valid for this recruitment?
Ans: No, only sports achievements/performances on or after 02.01.2024 will be considered for evaluation.
6. Is there a physical test for Chess players?
Ans: For Chess players, only the Game Skill is assessed during trials; physical fitness and speed endurance tests are not applicable.
7. Can females apply for the Basketball vacancies?
Ans: No, the 2 Basketball vacancies are specifically reserved for Male candidates.
8. Do SC/ST candidates get any fee relaxation?
