The selection is carried out in two distinct stages:
Stage 1: Shortlisting (Merit-Based): Candidates are shortlisted based on their marks in the minimum required educational qualification. Top 5 times the number of vacancies in each category are called for the exam.
Stage 2: Written Examination: A 2-hour offline exam consisting of 100 marks.
General Science: 80 Marks
General Knowledge: 20 Marks
Note: Questions are descriptive (one word/one sentence/short answer), not multiple choice.
Final Selection: Based on marks obtained in the Written Exam only.
Can candidates from other states apply?
Ans: Yes, but they will be treated as UR candidates and must be between 18-40 years old.

What is the probation period?
Ans: Selected candidates will be on probation for 3 years.
How is the salary paid during probation?
Ans: You will receive 70% stipend in the 1st year, 80% in the 2nd, and 90% in the 3rd year.

Ans: UR/OBC/EWS need 50%, while SC/ST need 40% in the written exam.
Are there medical standards?
