Skill Test: Ability to pass a competitive test and a typing test in both English and Punjabi at a speed of 30 WPM.

The selection is strictly merit-based and involves the following stages:
Written Exam: An Objective Type (MCQ) test will be conducted. Note that negative marking (1/4th) applies.
Typing Test: Candidates who clear the written exam will undergo a typing test in English and Punjabi (Raavi font) at 30 WPM. This is qualifying in nature.
Counselling/Document Verification: Final verification of original certificates.
