The selection will be conducted in three major stages:
Written Exam: An Objective Type (MCQ) test consisting of Part-A (Qualifying Punjabi - 50% marks required) and Part-B (Subject specific).
Physical Tests (PMT & PET): Candidates clearing the written merit list will undergo height/chest measurements and physical efficiency trials (Run, Shot Put, Rope Climbing).
Counseling: Document verification for those who qualify for the physical tests.
Can female candidates apply for the Warder post?
Ans: No, the Warder post is exclusively for male candidates.
Is there negative marking?
Ans: Yes, in Part-B of the written exam, 1/4th (0.25) marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
I don't have Punjabi in 10th. Am I eligible?
Ans: No, Punjabi at the Matriculation level is a mandatory eligibility criterion.
What is the starting salary?
Ans: The pay scale is ₹19,900 - ₹63,200 (Level 2).
Can physically handicapped candidates apply?
Ans: No, these posts are not identified for PwD candidates due to the nature of the job.
How many chances do I get for the Rope Climbing test?
Ans: You get a maximum of three chances.
Is the Punjabi exam (Part-A) counted for merit?
Ans: No, it is only qualifying in nature. Merit is based solely on Part-B.
