Test Subject | Questions | Marks | Time |
English Language | 50 | 50 | 40 Mins |
Engineering Discipline Paper I | 40 | 100 | 40 Mins |
Engineering Discipline Paper II | 40 | 100 | 40 Mins |
General Intelligence & Reasoning | 50 | 50 | 30 Mins |
Total | 180 | 300 | 150 Mins |
Expert Strategy: Start by mastering the Engineering Discipline papers, as they carry the highest weightage (200/300 marks). Use previous years' SSC JE papers to practice your technical concepts. Since there is a 1/4th negative marking, focus on accuracy over speed in the Reasoning section. Finally, ensure you are comfortable reading and writing the local language of your applied zone to clear the mandatory LPT.
