The South Central Railway (SCR) has released a massive recruitment notification for the engagement of 2,801 Act Apprentices for the 2025-26 training cycle. This is a golden opportunity for ITI-qualified candidates to gain hands-on technical experience within one of India's largest railway zones.
This program, conducted under the Apprentices Act of 1961, is designed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and industrial requirements. While this is a training position and does not guarantee permanent employment, completing an apprenticeship in the Railways is highly regarded and significantly boosts your resume for future technical roles in both the public and private sectors.
Candidates must meet the following criteria as of the application date:
10th/SSC Pass: Minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board.
Technical Qualification: Must possess an ITI Certificate in the specific trade notified, recognized by NCVT or SCVT.
Note: Diploma and Engineering graduates are not eligible for this specific notification.
General/OBC/EWS Candidates: ₹100 (Non-refundable).
SC/ST/PwBD/Female/Transgender Candidates: Exempted (No Fee).
