Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications from a recognized university/institute:
M.Arch / M.E. (Civil) OR
B.Arch / B.E. (Civil) OR
Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in City Planning, Town Planning, or Regional Planning.
Membership: Membership of the Institute of Town Planners (after passing the exam).
Computer Knowledge: Basic knowledge of Computer Applications.
Language: Proficiency in Gujarati or Hindi (or both).
Fees must be paid Online via Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking.
General (Unreserved) Category: ā¹500.
Reserved Categories (SC, ST, SEBC, EWS, PwD) & All Women: ā¹400.

Divyangjan (PwD) Reservation: 03 posts are reserved for persons with disabilities.
Salary: Initial 3-year fix pay of ā¹17,500/month. Post-probation, the scale is ā¹35,400 ā ā¹1,12,400 (Level-6).
Proof of Age: Birth Certificate, School Leaving Certificate, or SSC/HSC Board Certificate.
Educational Certificates: Marksheets and Degree certificates for all years, plus Attempt and Registration certificates.
Caste Certificate: For SC/ST/SEBC/EWS candidates (issued by competent Gujarat Govt. authorities).
Non-Creamy Layer (NCL): For SEBC candidates, issued on or after April 01, 2024.
EWS Certificate: Valid eligibility certificate in the prescribed Gujarati format.
Experience Certificate: Clear mention of duration (Days/Months/Years), designation, and salary on the organization's letterhead.
Identity Proof: Aadhar Card, PAN Card, and Voter ID (EPIC).
Other: CCC Exam certificate (if already passed) and Marriage Certificate (for married female candidates changing their name).

Profile Setup: Log in and complete your "User Profile" by entering personal details, address, and language proficiency.

The selection is merit-based and involves the following stages:

Final Merit List: Prepared based on performance and category-wise availability.
Can candidates from outside Gujarat apply?
Ans: Yes, but reservation benefits (SC/ST/SEBC/EWS) are strictly for candidates who are original residents of Gujarat state.
Is experience mandatory for the Planning Assistant post?
Ans: The notification asks for experience details, but eligibility is primarily based on the specified degrees (B.E./B.Arch/M.E.).
What if I don't have a CCC certificate?
Ans: You must pass the CCC exam within one year of your appointment if you haven't already.
What is the initial salary?
Ans: Selected candidates will receive a fixed monthly stipend of ā¹17,500 for the first three years.
Are there vacancies for PwD candidates?
Ans: Yes, 3 vacancies are reserved for specific disability categories like Deaf (D), Hard of Hearing (HH), and others.
Can I edit my form after payment?

Is there an age relaxation for women?
Ans: Yes, female candidates receive age relaxations as per current Gujarat Government rules.

What is the maximum age for reserved categories?
Ans: With relaxations, the upper age limit cannot exceed 45 years.
Can I apply for more than one post?
Ans: You can apply for one post per cadre. If multiple applications are submitted for the same cadre, only the last confirmed one will be considered.
