Assistant Geologist: Master’s degree in Geology or Applied Geology with at least 50% marks plus 2 years of field experience.
Mining Officer: * Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering.
OR Diploma in Mining Engineering with 1 year of supervision experience and 2 years of mineral concession work.
OR Master’s degree in Geology/Applied Geology (with Mathematics at Bachelor's level) with minimum 50% marks.
Assistant Chemist: Master’s degree in Chemistry with at least 50% marks plus 2 years of experience in rock and mineral analysis.

Can candidates from other states apply?

Ans: The written exam is Subjective (Descriptive), so negative marking for wrong options (as in MCQs) does not apply.
What is the minimum qualifying mark for General category?
Ans: General candidates must score at least 40% in the written exam and 45% in the final aggregate.
