Degree: You must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
Appearing Candidates: Those in their final year of graduation can also apply, provided they produce proof of passing the exam with their Detailed Application Form (DAF) after clearing the written test.
NCC 'B' or 'C' Certificates: While not mandatory for applying, these will be given special weightage during the Interview/Personality Test.
General / OBC Male Candidates: ₹200/-.
Female / SC / ST Candidates: NIL (Exempted).
Mode of Payment: Online via Net Banking, Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card, or UPI. Offline payment via "Pay by Cash" at any SBI branch is also available.

Can female candidates apply for all forces?
Ans: Yes, both men and women are eligible for appointment to all the forces mentioned in the notification.
Is there negative marking in the exam?
Ans: Yes, there is negative marking for objective-type questions in Paper I. 1/3rd of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted for a wrong answer.
What is the minimum height required for men and women?
Ans: Men must be at least 165 cm tall, and women must be at least 157 cm.
Are final year graduation students eligible?
Ans: Yes, but you must pass the degree before the DAF (Detailed Application Form) stage.
What is the last date to apply?
Ans: The Last Date for submission is March 12, 2026, until 6:00 PM.
Can I change my exam center later?
Ans: Generally, no request for a change of center is entertained once the form is submitted.
Is a tattoo allowed?
Ans: Tattoos are allowed if they are small, on the inner face of the forearm (not the dominant hand), and have a religious or name-based significance.
What happens if I don't appear for the PET?
Ans: The PET is mandatory. Failure to pass or attend will lead to disqualification from the selection process.
How many attempts are allowed?
Ans: There is no limit on attempts; you can apply as long as you meet the Age Limit.
What is the salary of an Assistant Commandant?
Ans: It follows the Pay Level 10 structure with a basic pay starting at ₹56,100/-, plus DA, HRA, and other allowances.
