The selection is based on a multi-stage process designed to test both mental and physical fitness:
Shortlisting: Based on PET 2025 Normalized Scores (Top 15 times the number of vacancies).
Main Written Exam: 100 Objective questions (100 Marks).
Physical Measurement Test (PMT):
Male: Height (Min 167.6 cm), Chest (80 cm unexpanded, 85 cm expanded).
Female: Height (152 cm for Gen/OBC; 147 cm for SC/ST), Weight (Min 45 kg).
Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
Male: 4.8 km run in 25 minutes.
Female: 2.4 km run in 14 minutes.
