Academic: Must have passed Intermediate from the U.P. Board or an equivalent recognized board.

Registration: Mandatory registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
Language Skills: Proficiency in reading and writing Hindi/English and relevant aids like Braille or Sign Language as per the post.

Main Written Exam: A 100-mark objective test.

The exam consists of 100 questions to be completed in 120 minutes. There is a negative marking of 25% for wrong answers.
