The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC), Lucknow, has released a highly anticipated notification for the recruitment of Technical Assistant Group-C (Pravidhik Sahayak) under the Directorate of Agriculture. Visit the Website: Go to the official UPSSSC portal at upsssc.gov.in.
Login: Use your PET 2025 Registration Number to log in through the "Applicant Authentication" segment using OTP.
Fill Application: Your personal details will be pre-filled. You only need to enter your Educational Qualification details and select "Yes" for the required eligibility.
Verify Photo/Sign: Review your photo and signature (carried over from PET) and click "Continue".
Submit Declaration: Read the declaration carefully, tick the checkboxes, and click "Save and Submit".
Pay Fee: Complete the βΉ25 processing fee payment via Credit/Debit card, Net Banking, or UPI.
Print Form: After successful payment, download and print your final application form for future reference.
The selection is based strictly on a two-tier system:
Shortlisting via PET 2025: Candidates are first filtered based on their PET 2025 Normalized Score. Approximately 15 times the number of vacancies (category-wise) will be invited for the main exam.
Main Written Examination: Shortlisted candidates will sit for a 100-mark objective test.
Document Verification: Successful candidates from the written exam will undergo a final check of their original documents.
Can I apply if I didn't take PET 2025?
Ans: No. Only candidates who have a valid score card from PET 2025 are eligible to apply.
Is there a negative marking in the Main Exam?
Ans: Yes, there is a penalty of 0.25 marks (25%) for every incorrect response.
What is the EWS certificate validity?
Ans: It must be issued between April 01, 2026, and June 11, 2026, based on the income of the financial year 2025-26.
Are candidates from other states eligible?
Ans: Yes, but they will be treated as Unreserved (General) candidates and cannot claim reservation benefits.
Can I change my photo during the application?
Ans: No, the photo and signature are fetched from your PET 2025 registration and cannot be modified.
I have a zero score in PET. Can I apply?
Ans: No. Candidates with zero or negative normalized scores in PET 2025 will not be shortlisted for the main exam.
What is the salary for this post?
Ans: It follows Pay Level-4, with a base pay range of βΉ25,500 to βΉ81,100 plus allowances.
What can I correct in my application after submission?
Ans: You can modify your address, EWS/Horizontal reservation status, educational details, and marital status until June 18, 2026.
What is the preference criteria (Adhimani Arhata)?
Ans: Preference is given to candidates with 2 years in the Territorial Army or an NCC 'B' Certificate.
How many candidates will be called for the Main Exam?
Ans: Approximately 15 times the number of vacancies (around 41,000+ candidates) based on category-wise cutoff.
