UR (General) & OBC Candidates: Rs. 200 (Rs. 150 Application Fee + Rs. 50 Processing Charges).
SC, ST & PWD Candidates: Rs. 50 (Processing Charges only).
Out-of-State SC/ST Candidates: No fee exemption; must pay the full Rs. 200.

Submit the form and print a copy of the confirmation page for future reference.
The recruitment will be conducted in two clear stages:
Written Test (200 Marks): An OMR-based exam with 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Each correct answer gives 2 marks, while 1 mark is deducted for every wrong answer.
Personality Test (40 Marks): Candidates who meet the qualifying marks (45% for UR, 40% for OBC, 35% for SC/ST/PWD) will be called for an interview in Kolkata at a 3:1 ratio based on merit.
Can candidates from other states apply?
Ans: Yes, but they will be treated as General (UR) candidates and won't get age or fee relaxations.
What is the last date to apply?
Ans: The final deadline is April 17, 2026.
Is there negative marking in the exam?
Ans: Yes, 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
What is the exam language?
Ans: The question paper will be set in English.
Where will the exam be held?
Ans: The examination will take place at centers in Kolkata only.
Can I submit more than one application?
Ans: No, multiple applications for the same post will lead to cancellation.
What if I am already a government employee?
Ans: You must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from your employer before the Personality Test.
What is the qualifying mark for the written test?

How will the final merit list be made?
Ans: It is based on the combined marks of the Written Test and the Personality Test.
