Light background. Mandatory. Candidate must hold a black slate in front of chest with name and date of photograph taken clearly written on it with white chalk in capital letters. Taken not before March 2026. Front portrait, without head gear except for Sikhs. Both ears should be visible (implied by front portrait). Change in appearance (like growing beard) compared to photo may result in cancellation. A live photograph will also be captured through the webcam during the application process. Candidates must ensure good quality for both.
