Taken not before March 2026. Front portrait, without head gear (except for Sikhs). Candidate must hold a black slate in front of his chest with his name and date of photograph clearly written in white chalk in capital letters. Change in appearance like growing beard or head gear compared to the photo may result in cancellation. A live photograph will also be captured via webcam during the application process. Photos that are not clearly visible, blurred, or have black shades may lead to cancellation.
